A Medical Travel Facilitator’s Professional Certification is currently in development through CGIH (Council on the Global Integration of Healthcare).
Certification through CGIH will denote that you have successfully demonstrated skills mastery of the body of knowledge established as a minimum requirement to coordinate patient care and travel arrangements for patients seeking internationally and domestically integrated medical care from outside their home communities. Through exams, case studies and field demonstrations, your active Certification denotes your ability to utilise the Body of Knowledge for practical application, and set you apart and above other community facilitators.
The Council will enlist the assistance of psychometrists who will validate the testing and metrics to ensure that the program meets its professional development objectives
